Nobelfestivalen – The Peace Prize

We present the second season of Nobelfestivalen in 2026–27

During the 2026–27 season, Klockriketeatern presents the second season of the successful Nobelfestivalen concept, with newly commissioned texts for the stage.

This time, we are also inviting artists from other disciplines to create entirely new performing arts works inspired by the Nobel Peace Prize. As part of Nobelfestivalen – The Peace Prize, we will present a series of unique events in which a new text is performed together with another artistic expression, such as sound, video or scenography.

We had an open call in the spring and are looking forward to collaborating with exciting artists working with both text and other art forms.

Performance dates for Nobelfestivalen – The Peace Prize will be announced shortly. We hope you will join us on this journey as we explore peace as a theme through new interpretations inspired by Nobel Peace Prize laureates.

PREMIERE: Monday 12.10.2026

RUN: October 2026 – March 2027

STAGE: Konepaja Stage

ADDRESS: Aleksis Kiven katu 17, 00510 Helsinki

Nobelfestivalen – The Peace Prize 2026–27

Nobelfestivalen – The Peace Prize is an expression of hope for a better world, inspired by individuals and movements that have brought about real change.

Join us for a series of inspiring evenings exploring the theme of peace through new texts, original performing arts interpretations, learning, ethical and societal questions, and meaningful conversations about different forms of peacebuilding.

Each evening focuses on a broader theme and two invited artists: a writer and an artist from another performing arts discipline. Together, they create an entirely new work that receives its world premiere at the festival. The works are presented alongside analysis, contextual insights, and discussions with experts.
